Student Subscription

A student subscription provides you, as a student, with access to read NS, IEC, ISO, and NEK standards, totaling over 50,000 valid standards.

The student subscription costs NOK 500, excluding VAT, per year. The subscription is valid from July 1st to the following July 1st.

After purchasing a subscription, you can search for the standards you need from our range of products in the online store. You can also mark your most relevant standards as favorites for easier access next time. Note: Make sure you are logged in.

Discounts are also available for printing and purchasing printed and bound copies of standards.

Discounts on individual purchases of standards

As a student, you will receive significant discounts when purchasing standards. The discount rates vary slightly depending on the different suppliers:

Norsk Standard (NS): 50% discount from the first copy Norsk Elektroteknisk norm (NEK): 50% discount from the first copy If your school has a subscription agreement, you will receive a 70% discount on standard and norm printouts. (Please contact your school or us to inquire if you have such an agreement. If your school has an agreement, you can use the provided discount code.)

Standards and norms are watermarked as "SCHOOL COPY." Standard collections, handbooks, and products purchased from other suppliers are not eligible for discounts.

Purchase a standard

Order by phone at 67 83 87 00 or by email at salg@standard.no. You must send us a copy of a valid student ID to receive the student discount. Payment is made upon delivery via cash on delivery, or alternatively, by credit card (Visa/Mastercard).

Teachers

If you are a teacher and wish to incorporate standards into your students' curriculum, there are several ways to obtain affordable standards for use in teaching. Students can receive a student discount on individual purchases of standards, or the school can enter into a subscription agreement for more favorable prices for both the school and the students.

Depending on your needs in the teaching situation, we can offer two different subscription options:

• A teacher subscription provides the school's staff with access to the standards, and the teacher can present the standards via PC and projector during classes.
• A teaching subscription includes usage for both teachers, administrative personnel, and students. This subscription type also offers students up to a 70% discount on standard printouts.

School

Schools and educational institutions can enter into a subscription agreement that includes access to standards for teachers and administrative personnel, as well as providing good solutions and discounts for students. Standards, norms, and collections are easily included in the subscription and will always be available to the users.
